The Villa was the residence of the Savoia Royal family until 1946; today is a public park bustling with joggers, dog lovers and ordinary Romans who love taking a break in such a nice green area. We will explore the large beech wood, the cork oaks, pines, laurel trees and the Mediterranean scrub which attracts and gives shelter to many wild animal species. And that’s not all: we will also see several archaeological remains, such as the Temple of Flora, a coffee-house built in 1700, surrounded by an oak-grove!
