If you are looking for an apartment in Rome your first choice might fall on the historic center. This is where no less than 25,000 heritage sites can be found: most monuments, archaeological sites and cultural spaces of the city span almost three thousand years of history!

There is a large choice of shops, expecially clothing ones and several supermarkets often selling international products. Prices are generally the highest in the city.
Parks and gardens are few and small with the only exception of Villa Borghese, one of the most important and large historic parks of Rome (with a diameter of no less than six kilometers!). The park also houses some important museums and Rome’s zoological garden.
The large number of bus lines going through the historic center make it easy to reach the city’s other neighborhoods. In the city center you also have access to the two metro lines (A and B).
