Who am I? Well, as often happens in life, we are many different things…
I always wanted to travel, get to know places and people other than myself, explore other countries and connect with different cultures and this is why I started traveling the world for both leisure and work. From the very start I felt the need to turn my being a “tourist” into a more genuine and true life experience made of less “touristy” and more “local” places, those experienced by the people who live in the place.
I worked in Russia, lived and worked in England where I started as a professional interpreter and translator and ended up by becoming a professional aromatherapist… then one day, a few years later, I started working at an American university in Rome where I spent the last twelve years organizing trips and visits for architecture students. At the same time I started tasting what Rome could offer to those who, just like me, love nature, healthy and genuine food, homemade sourdough bread, in other words, a lifestyle which is more compatible with safeguarding the environment.
