Ιtalian Language and Culture

Learning Italian: we can offer language courses of all levels which can be modulated upon request.
Our teachers: all teachers who will follow your group are highly qualified and have been teaching Italian for foreigners for a long time. Some of them work with American Study Abroad Programs on a regular basis.

Courses can be designed to reach the following learning levels:

A2 - cert.it

Survival level: it is an Italian language exam for those who have just started learning Italian and who are able to communicate in routine and simple activities.

B1 - cert.it

Threshold level: it is an Italian language exam for those who are learning Italian and have reached a partial independence in various situations.

B2 - cert.it

Independence level: it is an Italian language exam for those who have reached a good communicative independence. It is considered a goal, a turning point for those who are learning a language.

Cert.it

Specific training to take the certification exam in Italian as a foreign language at the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre for the European reference framework language levels A2, B1 and B2.

Intensive course 1

Duration

four weeks

Number of lessons

two hours per day for a total of 40 hours

Type of lessons

36 hours of taught lessons and 4 hours of out-of-the-classroom lessons

When

upon request

Type of classes

students will be placed according to their language level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) with a maximum number of 16 students per class

The program

students will practice their basic skills like speaking, listening, reading and writing

Extensive course 2

Duration

four months

Number of lessons

twice a week for a total of 60 hours

Type of lessons

56 hours of taught lessons and 4 hours of out-of-the-classroom lessons

When

from January to April and from September to December

Type of classes

students will be placed according to their language level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) with a maximum number of 16 students per class

The program

students will practice their basic skills like speaking, listening, reading and writing

Intensive language and culture course

Duration

two weeks

Number of lessons

three hours every day for 2 weeks for a total of 30 hours

Type of lessons

10 hours of taught lessons and 20 hours of out-of-the classroom lessons

Type of classes

students will be placed according to their language level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) with a maximum number of 16 students per class

The program

students will prepare activities, tasks and interviews which they will then put into practice around the city

Individual lessons:

For those who need a custom-made teaching it is possible to have one-to-one tuition with a schedule to agree upon together
